BUDA:

Buda, notable as the hillier side of the Danube River, is considered the calmer end of Hungary's capital city, Budapest. As Buda locations vary in height, romantic destinations offer both tourists and locals unparalleled panoramic views outlooking Pest.

Széchenyi Chain Bridge

Spanning the River Danube, the second-longest river in Europe stretching from Germany to Romania, Széchenyi Chain Bridge connects Budapest's eastern and western sides.

Fisherman's Bastion

The Halászbástya or Fisherman's Bastion, situated near the Buda Castle, is one of Budapest's most popular tourist destinations due to its unique panoramic view of the Hungarian city and its insta-worthy neo-Romanesque architectural terrace frame.

Castle Hill & Liberty Statue

Erected in 1947 in remembrance of Hungary's Soviet liberation from Nazi forces in WWII, the Liberty Statue sits on Gellért Hill, adjacent to Castle Hill and overlooks Budapest from one of the highest viewpoints. It's an excellent location to visit for those keen on hiking on at least a 45 degree inclination. Best wear comfortable shoes!

PEST:

Despite some similarities, Pest, known as the flat side of Budapest, hosts the city's more colourful and bustling crowds and hence offers a distinct flavour and vibe. Contrasting from Buda's classier, quieter, and more natural leisure sightseeing experiences, Pest allows vibrant energy, culture, and fun!

Hungarian Parliament

The Hungarian Parliament, an exquisitely layered 19th Century gothic revival architecture, is a notable landmark definitely worth the visit!
